Problem
Elementary school students (Grade 3-4) under Indonesia's Kurikulum Merdeka often struggle to stay engaged with traditional static textbooks, particularly in science subjects (IPAS) like Flora and Fauna.
Goal
Develop an interactive, web-based gamified learning platform that makes studying science engaging through progressive missions, interactive quizzes, and drag-and-drop activities.
My Role

Key Features
Interactive Dashboard: Gamified interface with user progression tracking (Adventurer Score).
Interactive Modules: Drag-and-drop diet classification games and scenario-based conservation quizzes.

An interactive module where students categorize animals based on their diet using drag-and-drop functionality.
Process / Workflow
Designed the architecture prioritizing student engagement. Implemented state management to handle level unlocks and score tracking. Built interactive drag-and-drop features to replace static multiple-choice questions.
Impact
Successfully created a functional prototype demonstrating how gamification can be applied to Kurikulum Merdeka, currently active in development for further modules.
What I Learned
Deepened expertise in building complex, interactive UIs, managing localized states, and designing user experiences specifically tailored for children.
